Provo Peaks is a newly constructed building in Provo School District. The building was completed in time for the 2011-2012 school year.
Previously, the school was called Farrer Elementary and was located in the Farrer Building, which was directly to the north of the current Provo Peaks Building. Before Farrer was an elementary school, it was Farrer Middle School. The original Farrer Building was built in 1931, and served the community well for many years.
The school has four mobile computer labs that are networked with wireless Internet and are brought around to the classrooms for use and instruction.
There are also computers in every classroom that are networked to the Internet. Each classroom is equipped with Promethean Boards which allow for interactive lessons. The school also has three Emint classrooms and one iPad classroom.
