The achievements of Provo High’s students and staff have earned it flagship status in both the district and the state of Utah. This past year, PHS students were awarded more than $3,000,000 in scholarships. Our graduates have gone on to become CEOs, national and state legislators, professional athletes, and even a Nobel Laureate.
For the 2014-15 school year, increased Advanced Placement, Concurrent Enrollment, and Honors course opportunities are available for our students. The PUP Program (Provo Unlimited Progress) is taught at PHS for gifted 7th and 8th grade students from throughout the district. Approximately 150 students are currently enrolled in PUPs.
Provo High’s performance groups are among the best not only in Utah but in the nation, with state and national titles in ballroom dance and ProStart, the school’s distinguished culinary arts program. Further, Provo High’s athletic teams have garnered great success for many decades, including a state record 17 Boys’ basketball championships.
