For the past several months, the Provo City School District Safety Committee has closely studied the impact of Covid-19 on its schools and the community as a whole. In recent weeks, the data has continually followed a positive trend, showing that the overall impact of Covid-19 has continued to decrease. You can see this data on the district website COVID-19 Trends Shared with School Board and COVID-19 Summary.
Accordingly, the school board has initiated discussions about the feasibility of transitioning all PCSD schools to full time school (Phase 3) in the near future. As a reminder, full time school (Phase 3) consists on all students attending school 5 days per week and following the full day schedule. Masks will still be required during full time school (Phase 3), per the Utah health order.
The following short survey seeks to gather the feelings of parents, students and district employees about potentially transitioning to full time school (Phase 3). Please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey. The provided link allows each recipient to complete the survey once and the survey will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. Thank you.
