With college acceptances rolling in and the excitement of graduation looming on the horizon, it's...
This school year we are focusing on the key people who are at the heart of what makes our district great: our teachers. Each week, we are interviewing individual teachers to learn about why they became a teacher and why they love to teach. We hope this will be a fun way to remind, inspire, motivate and get to know the teachers within our district.
This week’s feature is Kim Gardner. Kim Gardner has been a teaching for 28 years. She started out in grade school and recently made the move to middle school to teach her favorite subject, math. Kim was asked to step in and teach a lesson while still in high school and was hooked. She loves building relationships with the students who come through her class and finding that unique thing that makes them tick so she can assist them in their learning.
