The stage is set, the costumes are ready, and the actors in our schools are prepared to transport audiences into the enchanted worlds of some Disney Classics at upcoming theater productions.
Timpview High School proudly presents “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” directed by Timpview’s esteemed Stage Director and Theater Teacher, Michael Avila. Running from November 9th to 11th and continuing on the 13th and 14th at 7:00 p.m. in Timpview’s Auditorium on 3570 Timpview Drive, this gripping adaptation promises a night filled with drama, music, and the timeless story of Quasimodo’s journey.
Meanwhile, Provo High School takes you under the sea with their rendition of “The Little Mermaid,” directed by the venerable veteran of Provo High’s Fine Arts programming, Bob Bauer. Catch this performance on November 10th, 11th, 13th, 17th, 18th, and 20th, all starting at 7:00 p.m. at the PHS Auditorium located at 1199 Lakeshore Drive. Get ready for an evening of mesmerizing songs, colorful costumes, and the timeless tale of Ariel.
Not to be outdone, Dixon Middle School presents Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic, “Alice in Wonderland,” directed by Torri Duering, running from November 14th to the 17th at 6:30 p.m. at Dixon Middle School, located at 750 W 200 N. This performance promises to delight audiences of all ages with its imaginative storytelling and unforgettable characters.
