Earlier this morning, students from Timpanogos Elementary had the opportunity to help introduce a new Traveling Treasures exhibit called “The Nature of Color”.
The Natural History Museum of Utah and Zions Bank presented the event. They started off by teaching students various concepts about the world of color. Afterwards, a few students were chosen to help remove the sheets from the new exhibits while the other students counted down.
The event also included many STEM-based activities for students to participate in such as basket weaving, learning about minerals, exploring the new exhibit, a scavenger hunt and a game show.
The students’ eyes lit up as they saw a vibrant flowers, learned about various mineral rocks and ate delicious cookies.
Thank you to The Natural History Museum of Utah and Zions Bank for inviting our students to participate in this great event.
