In a world where pursuing knowledge and personal growth is a beacon of hope, we somehow overlook...
On a daily basis, the district safety committee continues to meet with the Utah County Health Department to study how COVID is affecting the district. The safety committee has committed to providing information regarding school scheduling as soon as possible to allow students, employees, and families time to prepare. Following the meeting today, the district is confirming the following:
These decisions were made in accordance with recommendations from the Utah County Health Department, and took current COVID numbers, anticipated COVID numbers, and continuity for students/employees into consideration. This decision is also aligned with our neighboring school districts.
As always, should unexpected situations arise, these decisions are subject to change. The district safety committee is committed to meeting daily to monitor this ever-changing situation and will continue to make recommendations to the school board that continue to balance the health, safety, and quality of education in each school.
We encourage everyone to continue to be vigilant and to do their part in keeping our schools as safe and healthy as possible. Please continue to wear masks and practice social distancing. Please stay home if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms. As we work together, we can keep our schools safe and our students in the buildings.
