The Technology Student Association (TSA) chapter from Centennial Middle School recently returned from Atlanta, Georgia where they competed in the 40th Annual National TSA Conference.

TSA is an organization of students involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). In order to participate in this organization, students have to complete a technology class at their school. The National TSA Conference is annual and is where students can work either individually or as a team to demonstrate knowledge in various topics such as film technology, CAD with 3D modeling, website design, desktop publishing and much more. The students are judged by technology educators and industry representatives.

Centennial students competed in Mechanical Engineering, Career Prep, STEM Animation, Prepared Speech, and Forensic Technology. They placed 6th in STEM Animation, 6th in Prepared Speech, and 6th in Forensic Technology.

Congratulations to these students for their success at this conference as they demonstrated expert knowledge of these valuable technological skills.
