During the April 30 Study Session Board Meeting, the school board received an updated report on the ongoing construction developments at Timpview High, Shoreline Middle, and Wasatch Elementary. This update highlights the progress and projected completions for these sites. Download slides through the link below, or scroll the images at the bottom of the article.
The demolition phase at Timpview High School is now fully complete, with the clearing of the new parking lot area and progress moving westward.
Construction activities are back on schedule, with the installation of piers behind the south gym and paving of the new road near the completed Pavilion. Teams have prepared the path for asphalt application, and landscaping around the Pavilion will begin shortly.
At Wasatch Elementary, the installation of windows on one side of the building is underway, with brick veneer scheduled for the following week.
The interior shows significant advancements; the first-floor drywall is complete, and our construction team is installing wall tiling on this floor this week. The second floor’s drywall has finished, with mudding in progress. The construction schedule for Wasatch remains on track, with all essential utilities in place and exterior landscaping nearing completion.
Shoreline Middle School is on the brink of completion. Construction teams have paved over half of the parking lot and laid all the concrete in the exterior common areas. The classrooms are complete, and they are painting the interior Commons area. The auditorium is now painted, and they will soon install acoustic padding on the auditorium walls.
The school is set for completion by the end of June or early July, followed by furniture installations.
