This last Monday the Provo City School District Foundation had its annual “Links for Kids” golf tournament. With donations provided by 17 different companies they were able to raise over $11,000 to be used to help send students to Camp Big Springs, a summer camp for 5th graders run by the district.
The tournament itself had 10 company teams competing and many other organizations participating through monetary, facility or culinary means. The names of the sponsors were American Chiller, Envision Utah, Project Control Inc., Curtis Miner Architecture, Christensen Oil, GSBS Architects, Kenya Seng Construction, Olsen & Petersen Consulting, Westland Construction, Liberty Press, VCBO Architects, Hogan Construction, Excel Heating & Air Conditioning, Reserve at East Bay, Day’s Market, Magleby’s and Timpview Catering. It was through the generosity and participation that this tournament was made possible.
The winner of the tournament was Christensen Oil with a total 18 hole score of 53. Along with the golfing there was a raffle, breakfast and lunch provided through donations.
We would like to thank all who participated in both the golfing and fundraising and are happy to have the funds needed to send as may kids as possible to camp next year.
