Westridge Student Qualifies for State National Geographic Bee

Jacob Hutchison, a 6th grade student from Westridge Elementary School, has qualified to compete at the Utah State Bee on March 31, 2017. He will compete with winners from other schools in Utah to go on to the National Bee.

One champion from each state and territory will advance to the National Geographic Bee Championship, which will be held May 14-18, 2017 at the National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Apart from geography, Jacob’s hobbies include reading, video games and playing sports.
