On Friday, August 23, Utah County Police Officers met 20 PCSD students at the Springville Walmart. In collaboration with PSCD, the Utah County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) organized the back-to-school shopping event.
Each of the 20 students was paired with an officer and received a $200 gift card. The funds were provided by the FOP and were used to purchase school supplies, clothing, and other important items. After shopping, the students and officers shared snacks and spent quality time together. The students also had the chance to interact with a police K9.
We appreciate the Utah County FOP’s strong relationship with our community and their commitment to supporting and uplifting the younger generation.
