Timpview students didn’t let quarantine stand in the way of showing off their talent, they took it virtual. Each year Timpview holds a Stars Assembly where students get a chance to show their talents. This year after the school closure was announced, instead of completely canceling the event, they turned to social media to help them stay connected and share their skills. Student Government advisor Cassidy Baker explained, “We knew these students worked hard, so we wanted to give them some way to perform. We are getting more submissions, so we will keep it going as long as the students are having fun with it.” If you want to see, check it out on Timpview’s Instagram at Timpview T-birds with the hashtag #timpviewvirtualstarsassembly
