Reading Support

From the Bookshare website: “Bookshare is the must-have reading tool for students with dyslexia, learning disabilities, blindness, low vision, retinitis pigmentosa, cerebral palsy, and other reading barriers.” Bookshare is free to those with a qualifying disability.” Click on the icon for more info.

Writing Support

Type with your voice! (Often referred to as speech to text.) Type, edit, and format documents by speaking in Google Docs. Anything you say turns into text! To enable “Voice Typing”, open a Google Doc, click Tools > Voice Typing (click on the orange microphone below for a quick tutorial.)

Read & Write for Google offers text to speech as well as word prediction to support spelling, ideas, and other aspects of writing. Click the purple puzzle piece below to learn more.
