Although Provo has not received the same amount of snow as in neighboring districts, the road conditions are treacherous and (according to the weather forecasts) bad weather will continue throughout the day.
So, due to concerns about bad and deteriorating road conditions for students, parents, staff and district transportation, we are announcing PROVO CITY SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED TODAY, February 3, 2020. All before and after school activities (including all athletic events and practices) are cancelled. Staff should not come to work today. Per UDOT recommendations, we suggest you stay off the roads.
The District Office will also be closed.
We will make an announcement within a few days to confirm when the snow make-up day will be.
