Notice to Vendors

Provo City School District Technology Department seeks a Request for Proposal (RFP) for technology equipment for the following project(s): Provost Elementary School Rebuild, and Edgemont Elementary School Rebuild. Please provide unit price proposal for the product proposed. The district will enter into a 1 year contract with the proposed vendor renewable up to 3 years from the date of contract. The district is looking for unit pricing as to allow them the ability to purchase the necessary amounts for the two projects mentioned above or other projects district-wide.

Contact with any other district employee or school board member regarding this project during the tentative timeline period will be grounds for disqualification.

Sealed Proposals must be submitted to Provo School District 280 W 940 No Provo Utah, 84604 by 3:00 PM, MST, on Thursday, June 22, 2017 Attn: Tina Fluehe (Purchasing Director)

Provo City School District Technology & Purchasing Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of the Provo City School District. Provo City School District also reserves the right to determine equivalency. Additionally the District reserves the right to rely upon Utah State Procurement code and the State bidding processes.

The proposal will be analyzed by the Provo City School District Technology committee along with the Purchasing Director.

Bids will be scored based on the following criteria:

Cost of eligible goods and service: 35%
Compatibility with existing infrastructure: 25%
Responsiveness to all the other terms and conditions of the RFP: 15%
References 15%
Local or in-state vendor: 10%

Award shall be made to the respondent deemed most capable of providing the complete system and support deemed to most effectively meet Provo City School District needs, taking into account the proposals and evaluation factors here outlined.
