A message from the Utah Department of Human Services:

“We have been working to find out as much as we can about the barriers you face in your communities. Many of you have participated in surveys and focus groups. Thank you. What we have learned was used to develop a proposal to create an office at the state, a “Disability Ombudsman,” who would listen to, investigate, and resolve your accessibility complaints.

In November, we will report what we have learned to the Utah State Legislature. But before we do that, we want to tell you what we found and get your feedback.

More information about this study will also be on our website.”
