Provo Way Recipient: Aspen Dye, Rock Canyon Head Custodian

We love having the opportunity to explore the district and meet the incredible teachers, ESPs, and administrators that make this district wonderful. Today we get to celebrate Aspen Dye.

Aspen, the Head Custodian at Rock Canyon, received the Provo Way award in April, 2024. Aspen is an incredible custodian who maintains Rock Canyon with care and determination.

“She’s so willing to just drop what she’s doing when one of us comes to her with something,” says Joshua Smith, a Behavior Specialist at Rock Canyon. “She’s always ensuring that everything is clean, safe, and secure. She really deserves to be honored.”

Thank you so much for all you do for Provo, Aspen. We need people like you in our schools and with our students and staff. You help the educators around you elevate the quality of education for the students you serve. We hope to bring the same level of passion to our work that Aspen does every day. Thank you.
