The Provo Way Award celebrates and recognizes district employees for exceeding the standard in their position, creating culture, and exemplifying the positive qualities we want Provo to stand for.
A shining example of instructional excellence and a true inspiration to teachers and students alike, Angela Warnock, recipient of the Provo Way Award, has consistently demonstrated unparalleled dedication and a passion for education. Nominated by Hailee Shumway, Warnock has proven to be a model teacher for her at Franklin Elementary.
With an innate ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment, she embodies the qualities of an exceptional educator. Recognized for her commitment to fostering a culture of learning and support, Angela Warnock stands out as a leader in our community, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to be under her guidance.
To quote Hailee Shumway:
“I nominated Angela Warnock because she has been the best example to me. I’m a first-year teacher this year, and with Angela as my team lead, she’s shown me what a perfect first-grade teacher looks like. She’s incredible at classroom management; she’s incredible at teaching goal-driven lessons; she’s just incredible. I want my kids to be in her first-grade class one day. I don’t have the words to explain how incredible she is.”
Thank you, Angela Warnock, and congratulations.
