As we move towards the new school year, we want to celebrate those who make up the enduring spirit of Provo City School District – people like Andrea Crespo, whose belief and confidence in her students is the scaffolding that encourages student growth.
Andrea Crespo, Sunset View teacher, received the Provo Way award last school year. Her high-love-high-expectation teaching style caught the eye of Sunset View’s Speech Language Pathologist, Rachel Warner.
To quote Rachel’s nomination:
“Andrea is an incredible teacher. She’s constantly putting so much energy into helping her students; they can tell she’s confident in them.
Because she believes strongly in each of them, I’ve seen so many kids grow personally and academically. I’m constantly amazed at the growth that students achieve in her class.”
Thank you so much for all you do for Provo, Andrea. The greatest teachers, mentors, allies, and friends are those that believe in you, even if you fail to believe in yourself. We hope to empower others like Andrea does for each one of her students. Thank you.
