Provo is proud of the many Social Workers; they build bridges, remove life obstacles, offer aid, and get students where they need to go. And few district employees are as willing and kind as Megan Brooks, Provo Peak Elementary’s Social worker.
Megan has been a Social Worker at Provo Peak Elementary for several years and has dedicated her career to serving the school’s students, families, and staff. Her unwavering commitment to the well-being and success of the students has been a source of inspiration to anyone who’s met her. She’s instrumental in supporting students’ social-emotional needs and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for each and every student, ensuring that students receive the aid to self-actualize.
For those reasons and many more, we congratulate Megan and proudly present her with the Provo Way Award.
Her nomination came from Provo Peaks Teacher Natalie Jacobus:
“We’re so grateful that you’re here at our school. You keep the school safe and keep the school running. I honestly don’t know where our kids would be without you– they feel safe with you and see that they can meet any of their needs from you– you change their lives.”
Provo City School District is delighted to honor Megan Brooks with the Provo Way Award. Her tireless efforts and dedication to the students, families, and staff of Provo Peak Elementary have made a significant difference in the lives of many. Her outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence serve as a model for others in the profession.
We congratulate Megan Brooks on this well-deserved recognition and thank her for her continued service to the school community.
