Provo Peaks Elementary is starting off this school year on the right foot by remaining aware of the environmental impact they make. As an educational institution, Provo Peaks realizes the amount of paper they use and the effects that has on our earth.
In order to give back, the school teamed up with the Provo Parks and Recreation Department to do some good and plant trees on the school property. Parents and students -young and old- put their shoulder to the shovel to dig holes to make room for these new plant friends.
Those who participated not only worked hard, but also worked together to do their part to create a more environmentally friendly world. Their efforts will continue to live on as these trees grow more and more each day.
