We are thrilled to announce that the Upper Art Gallery at the Covey Center for the Arts is hosting an exceptional exhibit showcasing artwork from Provo City School District students. Until May 1, 2024, visitors can explore an array of creative pieces crafted by the talented students of our Advanced Placement art classes.
Under the guidance of Art Teacher Lindsay Ruiz from Provo High School and Josie Mock Jelte, Timpview High School’s Art and Photography Educator, our students have poured their passion and creativity into each piece, reflecting their unique perspectives and artistic voices.
The pieces on display are also available for purchase, providing an excellent chance for art lovers to own original works by emerging young artists. The sale of these artworks directly supports our schools’ arts programs, fostering further artistic enterprises and nurturing local talent.
We are deeply grateful for our partnership with The Covey Center for the Arts and their willingness to celebrate our student’s achievements. Events like these propel budding students forward in their artistic endeavors, and we thank our teachers, parents, staff, and community partners for their efforts. Please visit this inspiring exhibit and experience the talent of the Provo City School District’s art students firsthand.
