Policy 5040 Resignation of Licensed/Contracted Employees

The Board of Education values the employees of Provo City School District and their contributions to students and the school system.

The Board also recognizes that under extenuating circumstances, an employee of the District may request termination of his/her contract. Therefore, the Board is committed to an orderly resignation process to encourage employees to provide timely notice to Human Resources, to minimize the impact on students or the school system, and to promote employee professionalism in concluding District employment.
