Timpview High School hosted a special Veterans Tribute Program earlier today honoring all who have served our country.

To commence the program, all stood with hand over heart as the Wasatch High School ROTC presented the flags, followed by the Pledge of allegiance. All remained standing as Timpview’s Decatones proceeded by singing the National Anthem.

This set the tone for the rest of the program as Timpview students presented spotlights of veterans; sharing their stories and offering a small gift to show our gratitude. Performances by the Timpview Symphonic Band and Acapella choir also helped show appreciation for all who have served our country.

The tribute ended with inspiring remarks from keynote speaker, Major General Jeff Burton who asked, “May we always be vigilant and remember the great Americans who have gone before us”.

We extend our gratitude for all who helped make this tribute a success, especially and most importantly all the veterans who devoted their time and effort to protecting America and our freedoms.
