Open Enrollment – School Choice

Parents interested in having their students attend a different school than their boundary school are required to fill out an application online. You may visit the Student Services office to access a computer if needed.

Open enrollment began Dec.1st and it will close the 3rd Friday in February. Notification of acceptance or rejection is sent by March 31st. Please note that it is against State Law to have waiting lists. Applications do not forward from year to year.

Enrollment Procedures for the Dual Language Immersion Program (DLI)

The Dual Language Immersion program is available in Mandarin Chinese at Wasatch Elementary, French at Edgemont Elementary, Portuguese at Lakeview Elementary and Spanish at both Canyon Crest and Timpanogos Elementary.

The program seeks to enroll students of varying backgrounds and all ability levels. The DLI application is open to all students entering 1st grade only. Students wanting to seek enrollment in the program in the 2nd grade or higher must use the open enrollment application, and request an evaluation of the student in the target language at the appropriate school.

The submission of the applications for 2020-2021 started Sunday, Dec 1st, 2019 and it ends on the third Friday in February online. For information about the DLI program visit the district website.
