Provo City School District has announced two new administrators.
Gaye Gibbs has been named the new principal at Edgemont Elementary School. She replaces Doug Finch, who has accepted a position at the district office. Gaye has a long background in education, beginning with 19 years as a teacher. She was also an elementary facilitator for 2 years, a principal for 8 years and the Executive Director of Elementary Education in the district office for 3 years. She has spent the two years as the principal at Centennial Middle School.
Rebecca Rogers has been named as the Director of Human Resources for Classified Employees and Benefits. For the past three years, Rebecca has served as the Benefits Coordinator for Provo City School District. Prior to coming to the district, she spent over ten years working in the private sector as a Human Resource and payroll manager.
