Earlier this week, one Lakeview Elementary 5th grade classes created their very own Circuit City projects! The students were tasked with figuring out how to get a light bulb to light up using only a battery, a wire and a light bulb. Following planning and trial and error, students learned about the functions and necessary parts of working circuit. The students were then encouraged to put their thinking caps on again and redesign their Circuit Cities using their newly found knowledge. Once the students perfected the wiring, their real creativity was unleashed as they used their imaginations to make their projects unique. Over the years, students’ creativity is always in full force as they design creative circuits such as camp sites, rockets and, with the Halloween spirit in the air, haunted houses!
