The Counseling division of the Utah Associate for Career and Technical Educators (UACTE) honored Jared Ferguson as Administrator of the Year earlier this year. The award recognizes administrators for the work they have done to support career and technical education in Utah. Jared was nominated by the Provo School District counseling team.
Jared is currently the Secondary Education Program and Science Director at the district office. He was nominated for several reasons, but some that were quoted by the counseling team include the following: “We know you advocate for us and that is appreciated”, “Great leadership makes a good team. We have good secondary counseling teams because of great leadership”, “Thanks for all your support, kindness, and guidance.”
Jared is an individual that is very deserving of this award, as he works very hard to do an outstanding job in his position. He has touched the lives of many and is appreciated by all who come into contact with him.
Thank you to Jared for all that you do and congratulations on receiving this great award!
