Tommy Hirschi has been hired as the new assistant principal at Dixon Middle School. He is replacing Brian Mangum, who was recently named the new assistant principal at Lakeview Elementary.
Tommy began his career in education as a Special Education teacher at Edgemont Elementary in 2015. After two years there, Tommy served as the Special Education facilitator at Canyon Crest Elementary, and then at Timpview High School. Tommy has spent the last three years at Dixon as the Dean of Students/ PBIS Coach.
Tommy received his Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from BYU, and recently received his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from BYU.
Tommy speaks fluent Spanish, and loves hiking, the outdoors and sports. He is thrilled to continue his educational career with the students, families, and faculty at Dixon Middle School.
