Just before the end of the school year, incoming Superintendent Wendy Dau visited several of our schools, where students, teachers, faculty, and parents had a chance to ask questions and learn more about her. We recorded these conversations and will share them for the next few months in the hopes you’ll get to know Wendy on a more personal level.
In this seventh installment, Wendy visited with a teacher representative, Lindsay Baccus. Lindsay asked Wendy what her expectations for teachers looked like, and Wendy starts with the belief that every classroom must be a safe an inclusive space– for students and for teachers alike.
Hear more about how Wendy plans on taking tasks (like managing absenteeism) off teacher’s plates so they can focus on instruction in this video, and look for more videos coming soon.
