Nowadays, teachers are expected to be something heroic: they are expected to be teachers and heroes...
Just before the end of the school year, incoming Superintendent Wendy Dau visited several of our schools, where students, teachers, faculty, and parents had a chance to ask questions and learn more about her. We recorded these conversations and will share them for the next few months in the hopes you’ll get to know Wendy on a more personal level.
Wendy spoke with Timpview High Student Government Representative and District Communications Intern Sanjay Moorthy in this installment.
Sanjay asked two questions: first, how she plans to prioritize mental health for students and staff, and second, how she intends to approach recruitment, development and retention of staff.
Hear her answers in the video, and look for more videos soon.
