On Thursday, October 10, KUTV 2’s Pay It Forward program honored Franklin Music teacher, Kayla Spurlock.
Kayla Spurlock was featured in September’s edition of Utah Valley Magazine, among the honorable mentions for their Hero Teachers Award. The word about Spurlock’s dedication and ability to make Franklin’s voices shine brightly caught the eye of KUTV 2’s Pay It Forward.
They came to the school and filmed a live practice session before complimenting Spurlock and the choir and giving the program $500 to support it.
Tune into KUTV 2 News CBS on Wednesday, October 16, at 10:24 p.m. to watch the feature live.
