2024年6月11日の勉強会理事会において、教育委員会は、ティンプビュー高校、ショアライン中学校、ワサッチ小学校で進行中の建設工事に関する包括的な報告を受けた。

ティンプビュー高校

ティンプビュー高校の解体工事が完了した。新しい駐車場エリアは整地され、西に向かって進展している。工事活動は、前回の工事更新で述べたように、マスタープランへの期待に応えることに集中している。

2024年5月28日工事最新情報

西側の歩道とキャニオン・ロードの道路に面した土地は、以前は駐車場建設のために準備されていたが、前回の勉強会でマスタープランについて議論されたとおり、現在は圧縮され、講堂に適している。南西の敷地の準備における主な対立点のひとつは、勾配上の雨水のルート変更に関するもので、（前回の工事最新情報でも述べたように）今月中に修正される予定である。

工事は、南西の敷地につながる南側カフェテリアの外壁の解体を見送った。この問題により、建設計画は予定より若干遅れる可能性がある。

建設チームは最近、体育館、レスリング、ダンスエリアの足場と桟橋をすべて完成させ、その下にユーティリティ・トンネルを設置した。石工工事は予定より早く、体育館、レスリング、ダンスエリアの壁を作っている。プログラムの電源と電気は予定より若干遅れているが、石積みは予定より進んでいるため、上記エリアの全体的な工事は予定通りに進んでいる。

フットボール場の工事を開始する準備が整った。消防署長から、フットボール場に向かって北上する南側の通路を試合中、完全に明るくするよう要請されたため、業者は通路の外灯を増設している。プレスボックスの設置はまだ途中であり、今月末に予定されている。

理事会は、特にコモン・エリア内では、内装工事を早急に進め、内装合板の壁をできるだけ早く撤去することを希望していることを、工事担当者に伝えた。建設チームは、優先順位の高いすべての建築プロジェクトを管理しながら、このことを忘れないようにすると述べた。

ワサッチ小学校

ワサッチ小学校は1月中旬の完成を目指しているが、これを12月に前倒しするための努力が続けられている。工事は、9月に到着するはずの電気用品を待っているところで、チームは届き次第作業を開始できるよう準備している。屋根工事は今月末までに完了する予定だ。

消防当局がワサッチの1階を検査し、見事に合格した。来週には1階の天井グリッドの工事が始まる。2階の乾式壁は完成し、3階の機械設備と電気設備の設置準備が、骨組みの完成に続いて進められている。

周辺の敷地では、各チームが運動場のコンクリートを流し込んでおり、今月には石工が校舎裏のベニヤ工事に着手する。学校周辺の造園は今夏に始まる予定だ。

ショアライン中学校

ショアライン中学校は予定通りに進んでおり、家具の設置は7月1日に予定されている。敷地内のコンクリートは完成し、灌漑設備が設置され、数週間後にはソッドの設置が始まる。

造作物の完成は、全国的なカウンタートップ発注の問題で遅れているが、家具の設置には影響がない。体育館の床は設置され、今後数週間で塗装される予定。講堂も完成した。コモンズの天井の施工は進んでおり、コモンズの上の2階では天井のディテールとカーペットが追加される。最終的な仕上げが進行中で、7月1日の完成に向け、すべてが予定通りに進んでいる。
