Nowadays, teachers are expected to be something heroic: they are expected to be teachers and heroes...
Now looking forward to a new Superintendent joining us in July, there are many questions about Wendy Dau. Everyone is ready to learn more about the new leader of Provo City School District.
Just before the end of the school year, Wendy Dau visited several of our schools, where students, teachers, faculty, and parents had a chance to ask her questions and learn more about her. We recorded these conversations and will share them for the next few months in the hopes that you’ll get to know her on a more personal level.
In this second video, a Timpview High parent spoke with Dau about her deep-rooted experience in Utah, from her childhood in Bountiful before receiving an education and teaching for 17 years to eventual administrative experience in Utah handling schools, staff, and students– all leading and preparing her to captain our community.
Look for more videos coming soon.
