Franklin fourth graders are not just reading books, but bringing those pages to life by performing them for others. Currently, the fourth graders are reading the Wonders book and were inspired to perform one of the stories within. Roles were divided among the students and they practiced for a few days in order to read fluently and practice vocal expression. By the end of the week, students were well polished and ready to perform. The fourth graders went to neighboring classrooms and grades to perform the story.
Our fourth graders are learning how to get out of their comfort zone and develop confidence in front of their peers. This was a great opportunity for Franklin students to delve deeper in the pages by making the story a reality for other classmates. We are happy to have such driven and inspiring students in the district. Keep reading and keep sharing!
