This month is Career and Technical Education month, and we’re celebrating teachers, students, and programs in CTE through reels, articles, stories, and reposts from last year.
In this post, we want to spotlight a deserving CTE student recommended by a teacher. We congratulate Hailey Lillywhite, an Early Childhood Education & Interior Design student. Here’s a quote from Camille Williams, Provo High School FCS Teacher, FCCLA Advisor, and Department Chair:
“She has worked consistently to become an effective preschool teacher. She works well with the children and has taken ownership of running the program. Last year she worked as an intern and was responsible for getting things set up daily for the children before they arrived, taking care of snack preparation and discipline issues in the room. This year she is an ECE 3 student and has done a great job arranging the room, putting up bulletin boards, and helping find solutions for any issues that arise. In Interior Design, she consistently does excellent work and shows real talent for this class.”
Thank you, Hailey, for being an outstanding student; we’re excited for you to grow your unique talents through CTE.
We have over 6400 enrollments in Career and Technical Education classes, allowing students to grow unique talents while learning real-world, lifelong trade skills in areas such as:
