While students are enjoying their day away from school, our district employees are spending the day in the classroom for district development day.
Each of the departments are holding their own individual trainings and discussing topics such as conflict management, multicultural support, managing student behaviors, special education, suicide prevention and even chocolate making. This event includes both licensed and educational support personnel. The day is split up into rotations and the employees have the opportunity to choose some of the lectures that they attend.
Through participating in professional development training, our employees are able to further expand their education, which allows them to improve their skills and become even more proficient in their careers. Our district takes pride in our professional development and makes it a priority to hold the development days quarterly each year.
Thank you to all of the employees for taking the time today to participate in professional development and thank you to everyone that helped to make this day successful.
