Are you a 7–12th grade student passionate about Career and Technical Education (CTE)? Here’s your chance to shine!
The CTE department is thrilled to announce a unique competition celebrating CTE Month, where students can create 60-second videos highlighting their CTE journey and experiences. Whether in a CTE class, part of a CTE pathway, involved with an internship, or engaged in a CTE student organization (CTSO), this competition is for you!
The competition aims to increase enrollment in CTE programs by collecting videos of students chatting about or showcasing real-world skills gained through deep, project-based learning. Share your testimonial, answer a few of the questions you’ll find on our Google Form for the competition, and you might just win a prize.
The competition is open to all CTE students in 7th through 12th grade, and the deadline for video submissions is February 25th. Whether you’re recording on your phone or a camera, as long as the video is of decent quality and effectively sells the benefits of CTE, you’re golden! We’ve even got a sample of a student video from our district below:
So, grab your camera, gather your thoughts, and let your CTE journey take center stage.
For more information on how to participate and submit your video, click on the Google Form here or contact your CTE teacher or advisor. Let’s show the world the power of CTE and the incredible experiences it offers students across our school district!
