Amelia Earhart Breakfast and Read With a Child Day

Last week, Amelia Earhart coordinated with Child Nutrition to host their first-ever schoolwide breakfast and Read With a Child Day. 

Students first invited their parents to eat alongside families and staff.

After eating, families found quiet classroom nooks to read their student’s chosen books. 

Breakfast was a perfectly suited activity for the Amelia Earhart family to ring in another devoted year of learning. And most importantly, family reading events like these nurture good reading habits and nourish the community– in more ways than one.

We’d also like to remind parents that the dishes and recipes made at school by our Nutrition Services team might be free or reduced for your student, so please visit the My School Apps website to see if you’re eligible!
