Current and former students said their final goodbyes to Edgemont Elementary School on May 26, 2017.

Celebrating the legacy of the school, two assemblies were held to honor and remember teachers, students and the learning that took place inside the building. Afterward, students and their families were invited to write their name or a message on a floor tile to leave their mark.

Edgemont Elementary School has been a part of the Provo community since its opening in 1955. Generations of families have attended Edgemont and attribute many life lesson learned within its walls. Improvements and progress shine bright for the future and memories made in the old building will not be forgotten.

The new building for Edgemont Elementary, located directly next to the existing building, is nearing completion and will open for the 2017-2018 scholastic year.
