Recently, Westridge held its annual Geography Bee. Students from the fourth grade to the sixth grade participated in the bee in an effort to win. Teachers hope that student will be able to gain confidence as they learn how to compete under pressure in front of an audience. This year, there were five top winners!
There was a three-way-tie for our third place winners, Alyssa Sorenson, Jason Carter and Jason Stocking. Second place went to Jonah Wihongi and first place was awarded to Clark Nielsen!
Clark will go on to take a test, and if he passes he will go on to Thanksgiving Point to compete. We are proud of our teachers who teach students the value of geography. Good luck Clark, and congratulations to all of our other Westridge winners!
