With college acceptances rolling in and the excitement of graduation looming on the horizon, it's...
Last night was an exciting night in Provo City School District. For the first time, a graduation ceremony was held for high school students that worked hard over the summer to fulfill all the requirements for graduation. That state allows districts to continue working with students until October 1 to qualify for graduation. The students that qualify by October 1 then count toward the previous school year’s graduation rates. This year, there were 33 students that qualified for graduation. Last night, 12 of these were able to participate in their graduation ceremony at the District Office. The breakdown of graduates by school includes:
THS – 11 PHS – 13 IHS – 9
Congratulations to these students for their hard work and we wish them luck in their future endeavors.
