Students from Provo High School and Timpview High School recently demonstrated their business skills at the 2025 Utah DECA State Competition, held February 20-21 at the Davis Conference Center in Layton. Competing against more than 1,500 students from across the state, participants took part in a variety of business-related events, including marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and management. These events required students to showcase their expertise through role-playing scenarios, written business plans, and professional presentations evaluated by industry experts.
Nineteen Provo High students competed in two primary event categories: role-play scenarios with a corresponding exam and written business plans with formal presentations. Many earned top honors for their performances:
