Child Nutrition Program – 2024 FREE Summer Meals

Nutritious Summer Meals for Children and Teens Ages 1-18 Years

Starting Monday, June 3rd, all children aged 1-18 can enjoy free breakfast and lunch through Provo City School District’s Summer Child Nutrition Program. This federally funded program, sponsored by the USDA, ensures that children have access to wholesome food during the summer when schools are closed. No application is needed, and participation is open to all children and teens, regardless of whether they are part of the Provo City School District.

Children must eat their meals in the school cafeteria. Parents and adults can purchase a breakfast for $2.00 and/or a lunch for $4.00 to enjoy with their children. Please note that the menu may change due to product availability.

The program is administered by USBE Child Nutrition Programs and operates at approved sites in low-income areas or serving low-income children. These meals meet the same nutritional standards as other Child Nutrition Programs.

Meals will be provided Monday through Thursday, except for June 19th and July 4th. Here is the list of schools, along with their serving dates and times:

Franklin Elementary School
- 350 S. 600 W., Provo UT. June 3 to July 18, 2024. Closed June 19th and July 4th.
