We love having the opportunity to explore the district and meet the incredible teachers, ESPs, and admin that make this district wonderful. Today we celebrate a wonderful example of compassionate teaching and dedication, Kandice Kunz.
Kandice Kunz, a teacher at Provo Adult Education, received the Provo Way Award in February 2024. Kandice is an incredible teacher who works tirelessly to bring out the best in her students and prepare them for a better future.
She is a boon to her school and community, and doesn’t think twice about helping out in whatever capacity she sees is needed. She is known for mentoring students and subbing for classes that need it.
“Her students engage with her, and she’s always there for every single one of them,” says Adriana Costa, an Office Assistant at Provo Adult Education.
“She doesn’t care how long she has to stay after hours, as long as she’s helping the students to understand.”
Thank you so much for all you do for Provo, Kandice. We need people like you in our schools and with our students and staff. You help the educators around you elevate the quality of education for the students you serve. We hope to bring the same passion to our work that Kandice does every day. Thank you.
