Brookanne Taylor has been selected as the new Principal at Centennial Middle School. Brookanne, who is currently the Assistant Principal at Centennial, will be replacing Kyle Bates, who has accepted a new position within the district. This change will take affect on July 1.
Brookanne has been the Assistant Principal at Centennial since 2019. She previously taught English and ESL at Granger High School in Granite School District. She started her career teaching 7th and 8th grade and has also worked in Ogden School District and Alpine School District. She has worked in multiple leadership roles from coaching sports and coaching instruction to leading collaborative teams. She earned her Bachelors degree in English Education and a Masters of Education degree in ESL Curriculum and Instruction at Utah Valley University. She later earned her administrative license at Utah State University and also completed the Emerging Leaders Academy through Granite School District.
