Tyler Peterson, a 12th grade student, was one out of three in his age category that won an award for his artwork entitled “Meet Your Neighbor” at the first My Be-UTAH-ful Community Student Art Competition sponsored by the Utah Transit Authority. It was a statewide contest participated by young people ages 5 -18 or in Kindergarten to 12th grade. Tyler, along with his class in Communication Arts 2 entered the competition under the supervision of Ms. Toni Wood, a CTE Arts teacher at Timpview High.
Tyler’s winning artwork will be displayed on UTA buses and trains for one year, beginning in April 2021. Way to go, Tyler!
Tyler Peterson, estudiante de grado 12, fue uno de los tres en su categoría de edad que ganó un premio por su trabajo artístico titulado “Conoce a tu vecino” en el primer Concurso de Arte Estudiantil My Be-UTAH-ful Community, patrocinado por la Autoridad de Tránsito de Utah. Se trataba de un concurso de ámbito estatal en el que participaban jóvenes de entre 5 y 18 años o de entre el jardín de infancia y el grado 12. Tyler, junto con su clase de Artes de la Comunicación 2 entró en la competición bajo la supervisión de la Sra. Toni Wood, una profesora de Artes CTE en Timpview High.
El trabajo artístico que ganó de Tyler se exhibirá en los autobuses y trenes de UTA por un año, comenzando en abril de 2021. ¡Bien hecho, Tyler!
