As Jane bounced into the office to have her picture taken, her positive and bubbly personality perfectly reflected her artistic interpretations.
Winner of the district art contest, Jane’s work depicted a bright and fresh image of what social distancing looks like. You’ll see in the photo that even the Sun is wearing a mask.
JoLin Cook, Jane’s art teacher, said, “Jane is quiet, but attentive in art class.”
“I can picture wheels turning in her head while I am explaining the art lesson for the day. Jane likes to ask questions to make sure she has a firm grasp on the requirements of the project, but then she pushes her imagination in the areas that are not defined. I love to see where creativity takes her.”
We love Jane’s creativity too!
Thanks for sharing your talents with us Jane and congratulations on becoming a district-wide art contest winner!
You can see Jane and other students’ artwork displayed in the Provo City Mayor’s office.
