School Health and School Nurse Services
School health and nurse services are designed to enable a student with a disability to receive a FAPE as described in the student’s IEP. They help the student access their specially designed instruction (SDI).
- School nurse services are services provided by a qualified school nurse.
- School health services are services that may be provided by either a qualified school nurse or other qualified person.
If a school suspects that a student (or a parent suspects that their child) with an IEP may need a health care plan due to short-term or long-term circumstances, please reach out to Lisa Harmon at lisahar@provo.edu
